I saw a bumper sticker a while back that was a bit humorous and interesting. It is entertaining to watch pop culture attempt to address truths which are beyond the shallow end of its swimming.
"Who died and made you Elvis?" I am told Elvis knew better himself. He is reported to have replied to a lady, "I am not the king. Jesus is."
Thank you sir for helping us deal with the activities of day to day obscurity. Thank you sir for singing songs which told us how vital our comings and goings are.
Sometimes in pop culture there is warped depth of a kind.
